HOMEOPATHIC GUIDELINES

PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO INSTRUCTION SECTIONS ON AROMATIC ODORS SUBSTANCES AND TREATMENTS THAT MAY NEUTRALIZE A REMEDY

Coffee (regular or decaffeinated)

In certain individuals, as little as one cup of coffee may undo the beneficial effects of the treatment, so I request that you do not drink any coffee at all. We can discuss the best approach for you to discontinue coffee.

Herbal Teas

Teas such as chamomile, mint, spearmint, etc, may neutralize the remedies. We can discuss your individual case. Herbal teas such as Lemon Mist, Mandarin Orange Spice, Almond Sunset, etc., can be used. As far as herbs are concerned, please avoid all herbal preparations including Chinese herb tonic during treatment, unless you check with me first.

Aromatic Products

Avoid the external or internal use of any product that contains camphor, menthol, cloves, eucalyptus, or aromatic substances; such as deep heat rubs, liniments, massage oils, Vicks, Ben- Gay, calamine lotion, Tiger Balm, Campho-Phenique, Noxema products, and moth balls. Be alert to camphor or aromatic substances that may be in massage oils, lotions, lip balms, Chinese candies, cosmetics (e.g. nail polish), cough lozenges and cough syrups. Also Tee Tree Oil, as well as essential oils such as lavender. Beauty Treatments If you receive a massage or facials, ask the massage therapist or skincare specialist to avoid these preceding substances. Mint Avoid toothpastes with mint as well as mint or mentholated candies. Avoid mouth washes with mint.

Prescription and Non-prescription Drugs

Because prescription and non-prescription drugs may neutralize the remedy given to you, it is important for you to let me know if you are taking any of these drugs. We can decide whether or not they can or should be discontinued. The same is true for medicinal herbs and megadoses of vitamins. If your medical doctor recommends that you begin taking a new prescription, please let me know at once, as this could strongly affect your homeopathic treatment. Birth control pills and other hormonal drugs may counteract your remedy. See your medical doctor before discontinuing any medications. Regular aspirin or Tylenol will not interfere with the remedy; however, Advil, Motrin or Extra-Strength Excedrin should be avoided. Recreational Drugs: Your remedy will be de-activated by marijuana, hashish, LSD, mescaline, peyote, psychoactive mushrooms, cocaine, amphetamines and tranquilizers. Please do not use these drugs for recreation or otherwise while you are under treatment.

Dental Work

Dental Drilling and the use of anesthetics may neutralize your remedy. If any dental work is necessary, please give me a call so that we can find a strategy and take the necessary steps to keep the remedy working. Electric Blankets: The electromagnetic field produced by these blankets may neutralize the remedy in certain individuals. Mineral Hot Springs Avoid hot sulphurous mineral baths. Hot tubs and saunas are not known to have ill effects on the working of remedies.
